Most master bathrooms are an afterthought. They function, but they don't feel like anything. No personality, no real storage, nothing that makes you want to spend time in there. That's exactly what this bathroom renovation was about fixing.
We gutted the space and built it back up from scratch. Floor-to-ceiling marble-look ceramic tile runs through the shower and carries right out onto the bathroom floor - giving the whole room a seamless, high-end feel. Inside the shower, we paired the large-format white wall tile with dark mosaic floor tile, three stacked decorative niche inserts, a built-in bench seat, and matte black fixtures throughout. The contrast between the bright tile and the black hardware is sharp. Clean. Intentional.
The vanity cabinet is a double-sink setup with a white stone countertop, undermount sinks, and matte black faucets to match the rest of the room. Vertical sconce lighting flanks two black-framed mirrors against a deep charcoal accent wall - that wall color does a lot of heavy lifting. It grounds the whole space and makes the white tile pop even more.
The closet is where the function really comes in. We built out a full custom storage system - shelving units on three walls, upper cabinets, a center drawer column, and dedicated cubbies throughout. Every inch of that space was thought through. No wasted wall. No dead corners. Just a closet that actually works the way it should.
When a bathroom renovation is done right, it stops being just a bathroom. This one feels calm and put-together from the moment you walk in - and the closet right next door makes the whole suite work as one cohesive, organized space. That's what we're going for every time.
